Hey everyone, and welcome to this week’s installment of TraQing News! It’s the last installment of the year! We know you’re ready to leave the office for the last time this year, so we’ve rounded up some content for you as you wind down your day. From Home Depot’s push into logistics acquisitions to the best vacuums available in 2017, here are some of our favorite articles from this week:

Nintendo Switch was 2017’s best gadget. What does it mean for 2018? | Scott Stein: Nintendo’s newest gaming console, the Switch, may have given us a peek into what gadgets of the future will be like. Its modularity and “go anywhere” design are a synthesis of what other tech companies have attempted before. By refining and streamlining what has come before, there’s now a clear path for future gadgets to follow.

Best Vacuums of 2017 | Paul Hope: It’s not often that consumers are actively looking for things that suck, but vacuums might be the exception! I kid, I kid (had to fit in one last joke this year, guys!), but vacuums are anything but boring this year. Check out some of the best recommendations from a variety of vacuum categories, and help consumers start 2018 with a clean slate (or at least a clean floor).
